From 21 to 26 August in the CEC Patriot, Moscow region, Kubinka hosted an international military-technical forum “Army-2018”. Exhibition events were held in the PATRIOH Exhibition and Convention Center, at the Kubinka airfield and at the ALABINO training ground.
8 foreign countries (Armenia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Slovakia, Turkey) exhibited national exhibitions. Representatives of 118 foreign states, 102 official military delegations, including 39 high-level ones, of which 18 were headed by the heads of defense departments. The total number of representatives of foreign military departments exceeded 700 people.
As a result, the number of presented equipment, contracts, foreign guests, participants and ordinary visitors can be accurately said that the interest in this forum is growing every year, which puts this event in one category with the best weapons exhibitions around the world.
At the exhibition, the ARMY 2018, along with leading Russian industrial enterprises, demonstrated its scientific and technical potential of the “Group of Machinery and Instrument-Making Companies” NGO. In the exposition of the NGO GKMP there were presented mock-ups of innovative machine-building equipment designed for manufacturing and testing products for both civilian and military use.
High-temperature equipment, vacuum chambers, processing lines for heat treatment, hardening, annealing, tempering of complex mechanical products, vacuum deposition plants, thermal diffusion, thermal compression plants, monocrystal growth equipment, stainless steel technological hammers, road repair and road construction machinery – that’s incomplete a list of what is currently produced by NGO GKMP on the industrial site of the former IRMAS plant in Bryansk.
