The Covid-19 pandemic struck the industry and all of us unawares. However, it is a testament to the resilience of the Indian society that we were able to stand together in this war on the pandemic. Many of our Fluid Power industry members swung into action immediately to support the national initiative by providing funds, manufacturing ventilators on a war footing, etc.
As the national representative body for Fluid Power industry, FPSI took immediate steps to join this initiative.
1. All meetings of the National Council, including meetings of the National Council as well various committees and sub-committees, have been moved to the Teams platform.
2. Lectures, seminars, industrial visits were moved from the physical to the digital space.
3. To address the need for seminars, we started the Fluid Power Webinar Series (FPWS) – a series of webinars on various topics related to Fluid Power taken by Subject Matter Experts from the industry. These webinars are conducted twice every month.
4. Social distancing and Covid-19 protocols were strictly implemented in the FPSI Secretariat.
We are also proud to announce that all members of the National Council of the Fluid Power Society of India (FPSI), including members of the Regional Chapters in Pune, Chennai, & Coimbatore are vaccinated.
We encourage every member of the Fluid Power fraternity to get vaccinated immediately. We are together in this fight against Covid-19 and together we will win it!
